PRESENTER INFORMATION
Dr Laureen Lawlor-Smith has been in General Practice in the McLaren Vale region for over thirty years. She has a special interest in the utilisation of non drug therapies in the management of chronic illness including diet, exercise and mindfulness based therapies.
Nicole Moore is the founder of Menu Concepts and has been a dietitian for the past 20 years, working in private practice for most of her professional life. Nicole has a broad range of experience in many different areas of dietetics, with particular skill in Weight Loss, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), Syndrome X, Hyperinsulinemia, diabetes and cholesterol.
Dr Rod Tayler is a Melbourne anaesthetist with an interest in low carb nutrition. He is the founder of lowcarbdownunder.com.au which hosts a range of resources to assist people to optimise their health and weight.
A/Prof Ken Sikaris is a Chemical Pathologist at Melbourne Pathology. He is a Principal Fellow of the Department of Pathology at Melbourne University and lectures to undergraduates, GPs and a variety of specialist groups across Australia and overseas.
