“Fad” diets drive Aussies from grain in droves

An article published in ‘The Land’ on May 1st 2015 detailing how Australians are consuming thirty percent less grains than they did just four years ago. Michelle Brown, General Manager of the Grains and Legumes Nutrition Council has attributed the decline to the popularity of “fad diets” like Low Carb, High Fat and Paleo. We believe that a thirty percent drop in consumption across the country in just four years represents a major shift in thinking rather than simply a fad.
