The Low Carb Down Under team is delighted to be joining the Public Health Collaboration (PHC) UK Conference this May.

LCDU take a collaborative approach in working towards better health for all through promotion of low carb nutrition, and are proud to be able to join the PHC UK charity towards this shared goal.

PHC Conferences 2022

The PHC, a UK registered charity, is dedicated to improving public health through better lifestyle information.

Under the directorship of Sam Feltham since 2016 the PHC UK have been a leading light internationally in sharing robust evidence and supporting resources on low carbohydrate nutritional therapy for diabetes, weight management and chronic disease prevention.

The highly regarded PHC UK Conference is back, following a 2 year break due to covid disruptions, with not one but two conferences.

From Thursday 19th to Sunday 22nd May, 2022 each conference will welcome healthcare professionals and members of the public with an interest in improving public health.

Food Addiction (IFA) Conference

Run by Dr Jen Unwin, Clinical Psychologist, over the 19th and 20th May 2022, Bristol UK. The Food Addiction Conference is a first for the PHC, as a dedicated conference addressing harmful food choices, the pschology of food addiction and behaviour change.

The IFA conference is packed with presentations from Dr Jen Unwin, addiction specialist Bitten Jonsson RN and Addiction Medicine Physician Dr Paul Earley amongst other food addiction and behaviour experts.

PHC’s Annual Conference

The PHC Annual Conference runs over Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd May, delivering talks on the latest public health and lifestyle evidence.

The prestigious presenters include New York Times best selling author and investigative science journalist Nina Teicholz, award winning Cardiologist Dr Aseem Malhotra, Eye physician and surgeon Chris A Knobbe MD, health pioneer and author Steve Bennett, Bitten Jonsson RN, Dr Paul Earley and obesity and diabetes expert Dr David Unwin to name just a few.
